A beautiful 1960s Royal Worcester Porcelain Egg Coddler with a pink flower / Vintage Cookware / Floral Design
The egg coddler has a beautiful designs of pink and mauve flowers.
To use, butter the inside and then break a raw egg into the egg coddler and cook using a bain-marie of simmering water for 7 to 8 minutes.
Worcester Royal Porcelain Company Ltd (Royal Worcester) manufactured earthenwares from 1862
This base stamp was in production from 1959.
The coddler measures about 3 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lip.
The condition is good. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines and there is no sign of any discoloration. It is nice and clean and overall in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop.
